The Du & Associates' team is looking forward to participating in the upcoming National NAHRO Conference in New Orleans from October 6th – 8th. D&A team members, Kathi McCormick and Greg Wicklund, along with Lake Metropolitan Housing Authority CEO, Eric Martin, will be discussing best practices in preparing for HUD’s Management and Occupancy Reviews (MORs).
If your agency has recently converted or is considering a RAD conversion to the multifamily project-based rental assistance (PBRA) program, this session is for you! We will share our experiences and best practices on Friday, October 6th at 3:30.

The D&A team is participating in the Ohio Housing Authorities Conference (OHAC) in Columbus, OH from 9/20 - 9/22.  Lucie Du, President & CEO and Kathi McCormick, Senior Consultant, will discuss their experiences and best practices to ensure compliance for post-RAD PBRA conversions.  If your agency has recently converted or is considering a RAD conversion to the multi-family project-based rental assistance (PBRA) program, this session is for you!

Another informative and engaging NLHA meeting was attended by the Du & Associates team last week in Washington, DC. D&A’s Greg Wicklund, Vice-President of PBCA programs, participated with other Housing Experts for the Asset Management Roundtable.

Several D&A team members attended the CLPHA Summer Membership meeting, hosted by the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Agency last week in Cleveland, OH. D&A was a proud sponsor of the reception held at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

D&A's housing experts Greg Wicklund and Kathi McCormick, along with Jon Gutzmann , Executive Director of the St Paul Public Housing Agency, will be presenting an informative session on the benefits of conducting post RAD conversion mock MORs on Tuesday May 23rd at 8:30 am. 

Du & Associates was honored to present at the NLHA winter meeting in Cape Coral, FL last month.  Greg Wicklund and Kathi McCormick of D&A, along with William Russell of the Sarasota Housing Authority, lead a session on Post-RAD PBRA conversion compliance issues, with a focus on the MOR process.  This was a great opportunity to connect with other housing professionals and remain current on federally assisted rental housing topics.

We hope to see you at the May 19-22 PHADA Annual Convention in San Antonio, Texas. Discussion topics include the latest HUD legislation and funding, asset repositioning, strategic and succession planning and current events in housing.

D&A is honored to sponsor NLHA’s Annual “Mature Section 8 Project” seminar focused on preservation, asset management, and occupancy issues related to operating, acquiring, and financing project-based rental assistance.  The seminar  takes place  Oct 28-29, 2021.

D&A's subject matter expert panelists will discuss maintaining compliance under the new subsidy platform addressing both the  PBV and PBRA programs at the annual NAHRO conference. The panel will include D&A’s President and CEO, Lucie Du and be moderated by Ron Lebsock, Senior Consultant and Director of Information Systems. Also joining are Jeffery Patterson, CEO of the Cuyahoga County Metropolitan Housing Authority, and Gerald Cichon, President and CEO of the Housing Authority of the City of El Paso, both of whom have gone through large RAD conversions themselves.
